"The best fun I've ever had with my boots on!"

After riding for more than 40 years PB experienced his first ever day on track @ Cadwell this Wednesday & the above is his reaction to his experience.

PB had made a previous booking @ the track in the mid eighties when he was due to take part in a race-school. This was cancelled at the very last minute because of heavy rain; PB having travelled all the way up from Plymouth, so understandably he was nervous that history would repeat itself - Cadwell, early April, rain?

Ironic then, that having received confirmation from one of the Instructors that, "we never cancel because of rain, we all have to learn how to ride in all sorts of weather & rain helps you learn to be really smooth", the day produced superb weather - dry, sunshine & temperatures in the low twenties!

The day was one of LRSP "Performance Plus" heavily subsidised days -- http://microsites.lincolnshire.gov.uk/LRSP/section.asp?docId=63394 -- & they are running three more this year, well worth the outlay of a mere £75.

PB's other memorable comment was to the effect that he was booking another couple of days, and had done so before leaving to go home.

For those of you wanting even more time on track and even more individual coaching, there are Martin Hopp's "Better Riding Days" also @ Cadwell -- http://www.hoppridertraining.co.uk/ -- And yes, I do have a connection with both organisers, working as I do as an instructor for both.

All the best, Jim.
