Can you stop yourself from laughing?

A bizarre incident @ Magny-Cours just a few days ago

Not really funny, and it could have been serious ............ but hilarious nonetheless!

All the best, Jim.

Pitlane very near miss 2011 TT

Very near miss!

All the best, Jim.

Learning the lines @ the new Snetterton 300 circuit

What a difference the new in-field makes! A series of challenging, changing and "chortle inducing" corners - if only the new Snetterton was a little nearer to civilization. Still, four hours is not too far to travel for such fun - roll on the BMW Club track day on the 22nd of August.

"Palmer" - the apex is way beyond where they've placed the cone - indeed it's @ the very end of the tiger teeth kerbing on the left

"Agostini"? - not too sure about where exactly on the in-field this shot was taken, but it looks like the slow 170 degree left-hander - Agostini

Exiting "Murrays" - onto "Senna Straight"

The very slow right hand exit from the chicane, "Nelson" - governs your speed into the "Bomb Hole" & "Coram"

"Palmer" again, still attempting to drive @ the apex

Again "Palmer" - keeping on, keeping on, in my attempts to get this corner right.

All the best, Jim.

Mark Higgins' Subaru record TT lap

"Only" a 115mph average, some 16mph slower than the top ten bikes, but still worth a watch, particularly for Mark's review of his "bottom of Bray Hill" moment. (the video starts slowly but picks up @ 00:13)

Enjoy, Jim.

TT Zero - 2011

John Burrows; "JoniB", Lightning Motorcycles' rider - pushed the bike all the way from Cronk y Mona, (approx 2 miles), in order to record a "finish" - an absolute hero!

Richard Hadfield, Lightning's genius/owner/boss/inventor and the most laid back race team owner in the world, begins to show some signs of nerves during scrutineering, (the bike only having been "finished" five minutes previously)

Lining up for the start

When you just do not understand the technology - it pays to be safe rather than sorry.

The, (winning), opposition

Richard attempting to tell "a racer to his bootstraps", to, "take it gently" for the first 8 miles - some hope!

Michael Rutter - the winner of this year's Zero TT

All the best, Jim.

Some photographs from this year's TT

John McGuiness in all his pomp @ Ballaagarraghyn

And again, this time @ Ballaspur

John on the entry to Ballaspur

Guy Martin @ the same corner - trying very hard to catch J. McG.

Local man Dan Kneen, also @ Ballaspur

"Togetherness" is a shared corner!

Guy Martin leading into Ballaspur

Guy again exiting Ballaspur

Complete with caged left leg - Hutchy has time and the spare control to wave to the crowd @ Ballaugh Bridge

Not the most graceful of landings that Bruce has ever accomplished!

Connor with a more effective style

William Dunlop - a quick, smooth and talented rider - someone I expect to accomplish much - showing how it should be done

Spectating just doesn't get much better!

The winner!

A hero & all round excellent chap - John Burrows

Derek Brien R.I.P.

A very sad day, only made less so by the professionalism of some excellent Marshals.

All the best to Derek's family and friends. -- Jim.

I'd love to have seen the look on the rider & pillion's faces .......

Fast forward to 5:27 & wonder just what s/he had for breakfast!

Some folk are just "special"

Enjoy, Jim.
