New World Record - 206mph!

This video run on Lightning Motorcycles' latest world record machine shows a max of 216mph. For a record to stand an average is taken over two runs, and as you will note they were having to contend with a side wind & the second run brought the average down to "only" 206. The white specks seen flying about behind the screen are flecks of salt thrown up by the bike's wheels, and sucked into the low pressure area behind the bubble. Lightning Motorcycles were at this year's TTXGP, and with Joni Burrows in the saddle they finished the course - next year they win!* All the best, Jim. *NB:- I should point out that I'm not impartial when it comes to Lightning and their team, I was chief "gopher" for them on the IoM.
