Ilkley Grand National

It's many years since I entered this trial - indeed the last time I was one of the Marshals. On my final, "clear-up" lap, (checking for stragglers/picking up flags & way markers etc), I very nearly became part of the moor - permanently. I made the mistake of cutting a corner across a light green bog, but for two fellow Marshals both my bike & I would still be up there. All the best, Jim.

In no particular order.....

Crossing double whites x 2, entirely wrong starting point, tipping in WAY too early, not enough lean, could have continued lean for longer, target fixation, panic, (did he use his front brake in the middle of the corner?), and then - why on earth put the video up on YouTube?! All the best, Jim.
